The Town's FEMA debris removal contractors have now collected more than 75,000 cubic yards of vegetative and construction and demolition (C&D) debris in Topsail Beach, and continue to operate in the Town as weather permits. Now this process is coming to an end.
The Town is requesting that all hurricane related debris from your property is placed at the street edge no later than Monday, January 8, 2019 to ensure that your debris is collected by the Town's contractor (at no charge to you). Once the debris is removed from your street, debris collection and disposal will become the practical and financial responsibility of the property owner. Property owners who still need to gather debris on their property are encouraged to use the next few weeks to get it out by the 8th.
Please note the debris contractor’s will not be working from December 23rd – January 2nd in observance of the Holiday Season.
